Carissa joined the Subiaco Womens Health Physiotherapy (Previously Sportsmed Subiaco) team 5 years ago. She has a Bachelor of Science degree (2008) and a Masters in Physiotherapy (2012). As a new graduate she relocated to Port Hedland where she worked in a private practice treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She then worked in the occupational physiotherapy field for several years before starting a family. Following this she realized her passion is in women’s health physiotherapy and began working on the maternity wards at SJOG Subiaco. She now works weekends as an inpatient physiotherapist and spends her weekdays looking after her 4 young children.
